1. Scope

This policy covers information collected through the public PrecinctWorks website. Contracted campaign data, voter files, and client systems are governed by the applicable services agreement and data-security terms.

2. Information we collect

We collect the contact, organization, project, geography, schedule, message, and optional document information you choose to submit. We also record limited, privacy-respecting interaction events such as page views, estimator starts and completions, and proposal submissions. We do not use this site to build political profiles of visitors.

3. How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, operate and secure the site, prevent abuse, maintain business records, and comply with law. We do not sell website inquiry information.

4. File uploads and sensitive data

Do not upload voter files, government identification, payment-card data, passwords, API keys, or other sensitive personal information through the public form. If a project requires sensitive campaign data, PrecinctWorks will establish an approved transfer and access process.

5. Retention and deletion

Inquiry records are retained only as reasonably needed for proposals, client relationships, security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. Records that are no longer needed should be securely deleted under the company's retention procedure.

6. Service providers and disclosures

Website hosting, file storage, and email providers may process information to operate the site. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Security

PrecinctWorks uses HTTPS, server-side secret handling, restricted storage, validation, and least-privilege practices appropriate to the service. No internet system is perfectly secure.

8. Contact

Privacy questions may be submitted through the contact form. A dedicated privacy email will be published after professional email is configured.
